SUPERSMART PARODY, OR SNEAKY ATTACK?
This bizarre video, signed "SwiftKids for Truth," uses the format of a devastating Republican spot signed "Swiftboat Veterans for Truth." In 2004, Democratic candidate John Kerry, who served on a Swiftboat in Vietnam and earned three medals, was badly damaged by an ad that raised questions about his heroism. Today, it is not clear whether the target of "SwiftKids" was the negative campaigning in which Karl Rove was a master, or Hillary Clinton, still remembered for her unfortunate statement of 1992 about staying home and baking cookies.

MCCAIN'S WEAKNESS

The speech to supporters after Clinton's narrow win in Texas on March 4.
TEXAS: HILLARY'S APPEAL TO VOTERS
A direct appeal by Hillary Clinton to the voters of Hispanic origin in Texas. Short, and certainly better crafted than the goofy message in faux-Spanish by Jacqueline Kennedy (bottom right in the menu of 1960 campaign ads offered by the Museum of Moving Image)

WOMEN FOR HILLARY
Cultivate one's own base is always a politician's best recipe. Hillary made a strong showing among women everywhere, but was able to win in Texas also because of ads like this one.

This so called "Greatest Barack Obama Music Videos" was conceived to attract hispanic voters and aired in Texas. poor quality and silly text had the predictable effect: a complete flop.
HILLARY AS PARTNER
A "populist" commercial by the Clinton's campaign: "The wealthy and well-connected has had a president who works for them for long enough." The video is predictable and, probably, ineffective.
OBAMA'S CAMPAIGN AD IN TEXAS
The week before Texas primaries (March 4), this ad has been constantly on air.
IT'S 3 AM
The politically most influent ad of these primaries: playing on the fears of a still important subgroup, the so-called "security moms," the Clinton campaign took a page from Karl Rove's handbook, and scored big in Texas.
RICHARDSON'S "Life's Work"
The creator went by the book but, unfortunately, the video fell flat as the candidate.

Another first-rate production by a group of Obama's supporters. The video was seen by about 750.000 people on You Tube.
HUCKABEE/2 - RIGHTS AND RESPONSABILITIES
The candidate-as-entertainer has some charm, but the video stinks too much of Arkansas to be effective outside the border of that State.

HILLARY AS BIG BROTHER
This is an excellent remake of the world-famous commercial by Apple Computers, used to launch the Macintosh in 1984. This very sophisticated ad was created by an Obama supporter in 2007, many months before the campaign for primaries and caucuses started.
CLINTONS' "SOPRANOS" PARODY
Ironic piece, broadcasted many months before the official opening of the campaign, in part to respond to the accusations of preparing a third Bill Clinton presidency.
